Refund policy


 

  1. Regrettably, once products have been delivered to you and any statutory 14 day cooling off period has expired, no products will be accepted for return other than (a) in our absolute discretion or (b) where such products are damaged or defective.

 

  1. Every effort will be made to ensure that the products that you have ordered arrive undamaged and without defect.

 

  1. If the products are found to be either damaged or defective in any way at the time of delivery, you must immediately notify the delivery team. If such damage or defect is discovered after delivery, you must contact us within three days of delivery of the product or, in the event of a latent defect, within three days of the date upon which you discovered the defect.

 

  1. Upon receipt of notification of alleged damage or defect from you, we will arrange to inspect the product concerned. You must not make any use of it, not make any alteration to it nor return it or arrange for its return before we have been provided with the opportunity to inspect and investigate.

 

  1. If upon inspection we agree that the item is damaged or defective and we are unable to repair the item to manufacturing standards, we will arrange for collection of the item and we will then contact you to arrange delivery of a replacement item to you as soon as replacement stock is available and/or offer you a full refund. We are only able to hold such replacement stock for a reasonable period and reserve the right to levy a restocking charge in circumstances where you are unable or unwilling to accept such delivery within a reasonable time.

 

  1. If as a result of an inspection, we determine that we have no legal liability in respect of the matters complained of, then we reserve the right to levy our standard call out charge and to reject any claim in respect of alleged damaged or defective products.

 

  1. Once unwrapped or unboxed mattresses and personal hygiene products are excluded from our returns policy for health and hygiene reasons.

 

  1. Please note the following product information which forms part of our Returns Policy

 

h, 1.  Surface fillings of mattresses may flatten. This is called dipping or settlement and is normal with use.

 

h,2.  Furniture manufactured from natural materials e.g. wood or leather will all have an individual appearance and may have a slight variance in colour and texture.  This adds to the individuality and character of each item manufactured.

 

h,3. Leather furniture will display natural characteristics such as scarring and variations in grain.  In the cases of semi-aniline and aniline leathers, there will also be colour variations.

 

  1. If the goods have been used or damaged any refund given will be reduced to take this into account
Cancellation or Variation

 

(a) . Cancellation will only be agreed to by the Company on condition that it’s received within the fourteen day cancellation period. In the case of special orders the cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit payment.

 

(b) In the event of the Customer altering the requirements of the contract after instructions have been received by the Company the Company reserves the right to amend the delivery time and to charge for any costs incurred as a result of the alteration. Goods made to special order cannot be cancelled.

 

(c) The cancellation of special orders will result in the customer foregoing their non-refundable deposit.

 

(d) If you purchase a product from the company in your own home and you wish to cancel you must notify the company 14 days from the day after receipt of the goods. 

 

  1. WARRANTY

 

  1. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the Customer but if the Customer wishes to have the benefit of the Company’s warranty conditions the Customer must comply with the provisions set out below.

 

b.In the event of a defect in the goods supplied becoming apparent within the warranty period which commences from the delivery date the Company either itself or by an authorised dealer/repair agent will affect any necessary repair or replacement of parts free of charge on condition that the Customer complies with the

following provisions of this warranty.

 

  1. Any part repaired or replaced during the warranty period is warranted for the duration of that period.

 

  1. The arrangements for repairs and service and the designated repairer will be notified to the Customer by the Company and will be confirmed at any time on request.

 

  1. ON A DEFECT OCCURING DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD THE CUSTOMER MUST NOTIFY THE DESIGNATED REPAIRER IMMEDIATELY GIVING FULL INFORMATION AS TO THE PROBLEM AND NO USE MUST BE MADE OF THE GOODS AND NO ALTERATION OR UNAUTHORISED REPAIRS MADE TO THE GOODS PRIOR TO INSPECTION BY THE DESIGNATED REPAIRER.

 

  1. Items of a consumable nature will not normally be covered during the warranty period unless such items have suffered undue wear as a direct result of an original manufacturing defect. These items include amongst others lubricants, motor brushes, upholstery, tyres, inner tubes, brakes and similar parts. Batteries will be covered by the warranty only where they have been charged and maintained fully in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

 

  1. Under normal circumstances, no responsibility will be accepted where the goods have required repair or replacement as a direct result of:-

 

1) The goods or part not having been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, where such exist and using only the specified original equipment parts.

 

2) The goods or part having been damaged by neglect, accident or improper use.

 

3) The goods or part having been altered from the manufacturer’s specifications, or repairs having been attempted prior to the designated repairer being notified.

 

4) Fair wear and tear.
